Holiday Inn Express Memphis Medical Center Midtown by IHG

One of the best in Memphis. I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The staff was attentive and friendly. We went to an event and I forgot some of my luggage. We called them and they resolved the issue very quickly, finding and returning my belongings. They helped me and made everything very easy. My family is very grateful. Thank you. Excellent service and great work from the staff.

The price was right and the location was near to where we wanted to be. The room was very good overall. The bed was a little too firm for me but I do understand they are trying to accommodate everyone and we don't all prefer the same type of mattress. The bathroom could use a new door and hinges and the faucet in the tub was loose. Also, the tub was slippery due to lack of a non-slip finish. Breakfast was very good and many thanks to Zee for great service. Without a doubt, we would stay there again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really personified Southern Charm and hospitality. They even kept the breakfast open for a few minutes so my son could eat before his basketball game . The rooms were clean and and comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty! Next time we're in Memphis we will be back! I definitely recommend it

Would absolutely stay here again. Every staff member - every time we walked by - smiled and greeted us. The atmosphere was so welcoming. Though a little older appearing, it was clean and well-kept. Staff were accommodating. Room was as described. Location was great for the soccer tournament. It was also next to a hospital. Room was quiet. We recently staying at Holiday Inn Express Southwind and had the opposite experience (room was not as described, staff were not helpful and management never followed up despite us requesting 2x). However, the Midtown Holiday Inn Express sets the standard all the others should follow.

This hotel was a great home away from home. My stay was for 3 nights. All of the front desk clerks were exceptional. This is the only hotel that gives free bottles of water for your room as well as in the fitness center. This hotel offered a big variety and selection of breakfast items. There's no words to express how impressive the breakfast attendance was. She made everything just right to include how the flow of her breakfast line should go when selecting your food. The next time I visit Memphis I will surely stay.

The rooms were small, but service was great and conveniently located near the medical district. I had the pleasure of being welcomed by Zee during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in the Memphis Medical District, and she truly made the experience exceptional. As the breakfast hostess, Zee was warm, friendly, and incredibly personable. She greeted guests with a genuine smile and made everyone feel right at home each morning. What stood out most was her thoughtfulness—she even provided a curated list of local restaurants and Memphis highlights, which made exploring the city so much easier and more enjoyable. Her hospitality went above and beyond expectations, and she is a wonderful asset to the hotel

Stayed here for a soccer tournament. Breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean etc. The only issue we had was the fridge didn’t work which we kinda needed to store food and water for games etc. but overall for the price it was a good stay.

This is a great home away from home. It is clean, updated, with a warm and inviting staff. I was just traveling on my way to San Antonio and I slept so well. The beds, the pillows, the comforter were all top of the line. So comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. However, the staff made our stay the best. A person can stay in the nicest place in town, but if the staff is not nice, then the stay can be an awful experience. The breakfast was good, too.
